Reflection of Conservation of Tecoma Project
On the 20th November 2019, we conducted the Tacoma Project located at our faculty's parking lot.
I am the Secretary of this project whereby I am responsible in taking care of all the financial needs of the program,
The purpose of the program is to rehabilitate these Tacoma trees so that in the future we would see it bloom.
We started the day with at 8am accompanied with some simple work out. Then we went out and met our selected trees. Encik Jamil Bin Razaimi was there to supervise and teach us on how to manage our trees.
The trees were cut, old branches were taken, soil was put on and fertilizers was put. Finally we assembled our tagging and hope that with proper discipline and management we would be able to see these trees bloom a year from now.
From this program I learnt that we must always think of preserving nature for the generations to come. It was also the first time I was a Treasurer and I learnt many things along the way. Examples are that safekeeping of money is important to keep the trust of the members in this project.
